Feb 10 Even if you have not presented yet, how did participating as a listener, note-taker, or responder during the Interactive Oral help you prepare for your own discussion?

 Prompt Response:  Hearing everyones presentation helped me prepare for mine by hearing what people say and maybe coming up with new ideas that I hadnt originally thought of as well as seeing what the project meant for everyone else how they interpreted it.

Feb 9 In the spirit of Valentine’s Day week, describe your idea of a perfect day spent with someone you care about (a friend, family member, or significant person in your life).

 Prompt Response: My perfect day to spend valentines with my significant other is to enjoy the whole day together doing stuff we both like as well as exploring places and grabbing food. 

Feb 6 What is the best piece of advice of that your parent or guardian has given you? Tell what the advice was and what prompted you to ask the question.

 Prompt Response: The best piece of advice a parent or guardian has given me is to learn to stay in my own lane. The advice helped me because from young I learned that talking to much causes problems by seeing the problems from people around me. They gave me this advice because they randomly came and decided to tell me this but grateful for it.

Feb 4/5 What is the most challenging part of working in a group? Discuss a time when a group assignment did not go as well as you planned and how you learned from that experience.

Prompt Response: The most challenging part about working in a group is making sure everyone does their part in the group. A time group assignment didn´t go as planned was in my 2nd period class culinary we had a project we had to do on google slides and everyone had to do a slide each but when it was time to turn it in and present the project wasn´t complete. We didn´t end up getting full credit for the assignment because it was no complete. What I learned from this assignment was to always communicate with your group to see if everyone done there part.

Feb 3 What is the most challenging part of writing an essay for you? Is it brainstorming, organizing ideas, writing a strong thesis, or something else? How do you plan to overcome this challenge?

 Prompt Response: The most challenging part for me about writing an essay is the having the constancy to keep writing even when my hands get tired. When my hands start to get tired I feel like I run out of ideas which ends up making it harder to think and write. I plan to overcome these challenges by practiceing more in writing so my hands get used to writeing. 

Feb 2 Describe a real moment in your life that felt like the beginning of a powerful story. Tell what happened, and why it felt like a turning point in your life?

 Prompt Answer: A moment in my life that felt like the beginning of a powerful story is when I started sketching designs for my clothing brand recently I havent started it but have started sketching and creating designs and learning how to start one which feels like to me the beginning of a powerful story. 

Jan 30 If you had to write a poem about your life RIGHT NOW, what would it be about? Explain your answer in at least 4 to 5 sentences.

 Prompt Response: If I had to write a poem about my life right now it would be about growing up. I say this because I am in life trying to make plans for the future which I didnt give much thought to when I was younger. The poem would be about me growing up from a little kid to a grown up. In the poem I would write about how my mind changed from what I would think of younger to now.
